Object of research – polymers and composite materials on their basis. The work purpose – to develop scientific bases of synthesis of new polymers, additives and modifiers of polymeric materials, to investigate their physical and chemical properties, to find scopes. It is synthesized montmorilonite, modified PQAS on a basis epoxy pitches ED-20. Process course intercalation macromolecules polymeric quaternary ammonium salts between layers primary crystal elements of structure montmorilonite. Is revealed. It is system influence montmorilonite, modified PQAS, on structure and a complex of physico-mechanical properties of polyamide-6 and polystyrene is investigated. It is shown that introduction modified PQAS montmorilonite in a polymeric matrix (polyamide and polystyrene) provides substantial increase of level of impact strength, durability and relative lengthening that allows to use the specified polymers at manufacturing of details of constructional appointment with increased requirements to durability, wear resistance and other operational characteristics. Use areas - manufacture of plates, staffs, pipes and profiles from plastic, container from plastic, manufacture of building products from plastic.
