During accomplishment of the first stage of the project "Improvement of accuracy of flowrate and volume measurement for energy content gas mixtures" the methodology for taking into account the influence of flow temperature variations on the accuracy of flowrate and volume measurement for energy content gas mixtures in the operating conditions of coke gas and blast-furnace gas metering systems is developed, the mathematical model for orifice plate inlet edge blunting coefficient is developed in order to reduce the systematic errors of flowrate and volume measurement for energy content gas mixtures in the operating conditions of coke gas and blast-furnace gas metering systems, the technique for calculation of optimal pressure differential devices is developed and the criteria for selection of primary devices for flowrate and volume measurement for energy content gas mixtures (coke gas and blast-furnace gas) are defined.
