The goal of work - to automate the construction of diagnostic models on precedents. In the work the comparative analysis of methods for extracting association rules from data sets is conducted. A classification of methods for extracting association rules is proposed. The methods of extracting association rules on the basis of the generation of candidates are proposed to divide into two categories: the methods that use a crisp logic and methods based on fuzzy logic. It is established that the methods for finding of association rules based on fuzzy logic are work effectively with both qualitative and quantitative data. The search methods of association rules with a crisp logic are effectively work with only qualitative data. Using the search methods of associative rules accelerated the separation of knowledge from data to build diagnostic models based on inductive learning.
