The method of tunneling current computation and voltage-current characteristic analysis grounded on theoretical studies of quantum-mechanical phenomena in the area between the diamond tip and the surface is proposed. The structural design of the diamond nanoprobe-nanomanipulator ready to operate in vacuum with the corresponding electronic circuits and control software are proposed, developed and tested.
