Object of study - Medicago sativa L., Medicago falcata L. The purpose of the work-study autogamy alfalfa, methods of strengthening in order to create high-yielding varieties for field and pasture use. Research methods: hybridization, selection, field and laboratory research, production testing, statistical analysis. Key findings include: color line and form of alfalfa seed selection with high expression of self-fertility, indicating that pro full homozygotation some of these genes in Sf and significant destruction mechanism subvitaley balanced.
