The object of investigations: vegetable, melon plants, which are grown under drop irrigation, are stored up and realized for using fresh and industrial processing. The aim of the standard working out is the improvement of production quality, lessening of its losses, the growth of the effectiveness of producing technology. The standard reflects the most optimum way of getting vegetable production, which meets the requirements of existing standards for fresh vegetables. In the basis of the standard for the technology of growing vegetable, melon plants under drop irrigation the results of long-term researches in technology of vegetable and melon plants growing are put down, which have been held in the Institute of vegetable and meloning UAAS and other scientific establishments with the use of reference material (collections, reference books, recommendations, etc.) and materials of native and world literature. The qualitative indices, will promote getting of high-qualitative vegetable and melon production under drop irrigation. The develop standard is interconnected with the normative documents in law: SSU 2175-93 "Vegetables. Terms and Definitions"; with standards for fresh vegetables, which are aimed for the realization fresh and industrial processing, as well as with normative documents, in which the demands as to the safety for life and health of people, environmental protection and others are set forth. The novelty of investigation: In the standard worked out all the technological operations are given in that succession, which has to be kept to in the process of vegetable and melon growing under drop irrigation, methods of control and estimation of the work quality and also demands on safety and surroundings protection. Standard after coming into force, will be applied in farmings of Ukraine of different forms of property, which are engaged in production, storing up and realization of vegetable and melon production.
