The geological evolution of the whole bassin and of its separate parts, the tectonic structure of the fields, the coal presence, hydrogeological and hydrochemical condiitions, the rate of coalification and the petrographical composition of coal, the thikness, the lirhological composition of enclosing rocks and their reservoir properties and known to be the basic factors influencing the gas content, composition, migration and accumulation in the coal-bearing series
