Objects of the study are Polissia (fluvioglacial) landscapes of the Ukrainian and Belorussian transborder region. Studies are based on the methods of field survey and mapping of the landscapes and their antropogenic modifications using GIS and remote sensing, landscape -geochemical studies and on complex of methods of the present-day natural and natural-technogenic processes in the landscapes, as well as the landscape planning methods. Selected methods testing was made in the context of the co-operative Ukrainian and Belorussian field studies of the transborder model region landscapes at the lover part of the Styr river basin.
