Subject of investigation is the method of CVD nitrogen doped nanostructural diamond coatings synthesis. The purpose of work is development of the methods related to production and investigation of properties of nitrogen doped nanostructural diamond coatings. Research reception is analysis and generalization of the literature data devoted to production of nanocrystalline diamond coatings by CVD method. Experimental investigation of the effect of diamond coatings parameters synthesis on their structure, theoretical investigation of the effect of structure on the value of conductivity of diamond coatings. The analysis of references has shown that the same activation methods of gas phase both for production of nanocrystalline and microcrystalline diamond materials are used. The restriction of size crystalline up to 3-100 nm level is attained by change of gas phase composition, optimization of gas - phase deposition parameters and pre-treatment of sample surface. Experimental working off of nanostructural diamond coatings synthesis from gas mix of methane, hydrogen, argon and nitrogen and methods of their investigation with using of X-ray diffraction method and scanning electronic microscopy are carried out. It was determined that synthesis of nanostructural nitrogen doped diamond coatings is possible in glow-discharge plasma and crossed Е/Н fields at decreasing of hydrogen contents in gas mixture up to ~ 30 % and less. The value of coherent scattering region according to X-ray diffraction investigations of these coatings yields of 24-29 nm. These values are close to sizes of structural elements on surface of diamond coatings which are detected by electron-microscopic study. It allows to conclude that the structure of the diamond coatings conforms to the field of nanostructural coatings. Prognosis estimates concerning evolution of investigation subject is the development of physical principles of synthesis process of the electroconductive nanostructural nitrogen doped diamond coatings.
