This approach allows reducing the state space of the original system to a set of lower dimension. By using such a technique, some inverse control problems (synchronization of oscillations, trajectory planning, and nonlinear observers design) are reduced to the analysis of algebraic relations. Methods of nonlinear observer design for the determination of the rigid body angular velocity as well as a feedback control law in the motion planning problem of a gyrostat are proposed.
