The work contains calculations of market shares in sectors with various structural preconditions for competition by spheres and sectors, as well as by general economy indicators. The level of monopolisation in branches in 2010, and the reasons for changes in these levels of monopolisation have been defined. The overall congregation level in the industry of Ukraine in sales volumes, the number of employed, investments, etc. in 2010 has been evaluated. On the basis of the materials of market conditions surveys, competition intensity, innovative activities carried out by Ukrainian enterprises, and the impact the natural monopolies on companies' performance in 2011 have been assessed.
