Objects of the research are software complexes of processing and archiving satellite imagery. The aim of research is the development special software for processing and archiving satellite imagery to solve thematic tasks of the Earth remote sensing in the information-analytical system of the State Space Agency of Ukraine. The investigation method shows and reviews the experience of creating similar software systems with usage information technology. As a result of research software complexes "Administrator", "Archivist" and "image processing" were developed, which provide automatic operations and image processing on a single information base and operated in accordance with the plans of a specific information-analytical system. The developed software complexes are the parts of the creating a prototype software-hardware complex of processing and archiving satellite imagery.
