Presented characteristics of wood raw material of the species composition and post-consumer wood used to produce synthesis gas. Given the analysis of existing equipment and technologies for processing wood into synthesis gas. Developed on the basis of theoretical positions, heat-technical model of the process of gasification of wood. Developed experimental installation and methods of experimental studies for the process of gasification of different species of wood. As a result of experimental investigations of the process of gasification of wood of different species, justified by the results of experimental investigations rational gasification process parameters: particle size of wood, amount of air, amount of fuel in the gazogene. Developed the technology of gasification of wood raw material in gaseous fuel with specified calorific value.
