The purpose of research - a comparative analysis of genetic structure, subdivision and differentiation of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) populations in Ukrainian and Belarussian parts of the natural habitat, to select among them unique, with the greatest level of genetic polymorphism (first stage), the definition of the differences in genetic variability selection of plus trees of the Ukrainian and Belarusian selection of random trees in natural populations and plantations (second stage). 12 isozyme loci of six enzyme systems (GOT, ADH, GDH, DIA, LAP, MDH) was unified in 20 Ukrainian populations of major silvicultural regions (Lugansk - Lviv region) and in 10 of the Belarusian population of main silvicultural regions of Belarus. Predominant alleles are identical in both parts of the geographic area. Heterogeneity between the Ukrainian and Belarusian populations was characterized by eight loci. On three main indicators of P. sylvestris genetic polymorphisms in the Belarusian part of the natural habitat exceeds (P95 = 0.833, НЕ = 0.314, НО = 0.312) Ukrainian side of the range (P95 = 0.750, НЕ = 0.264, НО = 0.261). The average number of alleles per locus in the Ukrainian area (A = 4.583) higher than in Belarus (A = 4.250). Ukrainian population P. sylvestris (FST = 0,037) was differentiated more than Belarus (0.019). The genetic diversity of 30 populations was minimal in relict populations of P. sylvestris from Ukrainian Carpathians, which are preserved in adaptively important genes from pre-Ice Age. P. sylvestris populations with the highest rates of genetic diversity, genetic selection for long-term reserves, the use in breeding programs, introduction purposes, intergovernmental exchange have been installed. Gene-portraits of 43 plus trees of 18 allozyme loci was identified in stands of P. sylvestris in the north of Donetsk region. On the average level of observed heterozygosity (Ho = 0.203) sample of these trees is inferior to all other stands (Ho = 0.238 - 0.307), including the selection of plus trees from Belarus (Ho = 0.260). Three of the most changeable loci was identified for plus trees of Ukraine - Gdh, Mdh-3, Got-2. The sample plus trees from Belarus genetically balanced (Ho = НЕ = 0.260), and for plus trees from Ukraine for eight of the twelve loci there is a significant deviation of the actual distribution of genotypes from the theoretically expected under the Hardy - Weinberg due to an excess of homozygotes, which is 37.3 %. Sample plus trees of Ukraine and Belarus more genetically differentiated from each other than the stands of natural and artificial origin (DN = 0,050). At the same time, the Ukrainian sample of plus trees differs very little from the original plantings (DN = 0,001). Pinus sylvestris L., genetic variability, population, planting, plus-trees of the Ukrainian and Belarusian selection.
