Subject of the research - automated system of navigation information collection and complex processing for sea charts creation Goal of the research is a development of the novel hardware/software measurement complex for sea charts creation at the basis of a research of navigation methods and the research of methods of two-dimensional depth measurement data processing. Complex also has to ensure detection of underwater navigation dangers and drowned objects in water areas with the subsequent displaying of those objects on sea charts. Research methods - mathematical modeling of filtering methods, anomalous data rejection, isolines creation, and ship control systems (in order to create an adaptive autopilot). In the course of a research following results are obtained: 1.Methods of a precise determination of position by the means of satellite navigation in a differential mode were developed. Precision of the observation point position determination conforms to Special Order class of IHO S-44 standard. 2.Methods of the ship model parameters identification were developed. Proposed methods allow one to identify ship model parameters with 3-5% precision, and the value of a disturbance moment with precision up to 8%. 3.Method of autopilot synthesis at the basis of automatic ship model identification was developed. The proposed method allows one to obtain a given dynamic error value while going on the course and the given ship motion control quality in the specific navigation conditions 4.Methods of anomalous data rejection in non-periodic signals were developed: on the basis of the original algorithm for one-dimensional signal and on the basis of a median filter for two-dimensional. Algorithms created allow one to reject anomalous peaks and pits from measured data automatically. 5.A depth data smoothing algorithm, which allows one to decrease the impact of reverberation and refraction noise, and also the impact of hardware-caused white noise on the measurement data, was developed. 6.For use in the post-processing software of a complex, the algorithm, which takes the specificity of depth measurement data with their coordinates into account, and allows one to build isolines automatically, was developed. That algorithm, unlike the existing ones, can operate on the areas of an arbitrary form (not only on square-shaped areas) with arbitrary observation point positions. Besides that, tests of a measured data processing software, created on the basis of a first stage of a research, were conducted. Those tests confirms operability and correctness of software functioning. The software can be recommended to use in the sea chart creation process. On the research results four papers in professional journals were published, and one report at an international scientific conference was made (theses and report text were published).
