Object of research - the materials of the world literature on the issues of метаногенезу and methane emissions into the atmosphere; cattle; diets; intestinal sorbents. Aim of the study was to clarify the physiological-biochemical mechanisms of метаногенезу, including in vitro in cattle depending on the level of feeding, the influence of feed additives-sorbents, the ratio of voluminous and concentrated food in the diet of the methane emissions to the atmosphere and the comparison of the accuracy of the existing methods of evaluation of these processes. Methods of research-for the First time in Ukraine for SF6-трейсовою technology experimentally determined values of the emission factors of methane cattle, which can be used in the accounting of greenhouse gases. Field of application:agriculture, animal husbandry.
