The population-genetic analysis of open population of Ukrainian black-and-white dairy breed of Ukraine's Polissya has been made. The pedigree value of bull-producers and lines was defined. The efficiency of breeding cows of various genotypes and production types of Holstein breed has been investigated. The conception of the desired type using for an estimation of the efficiency of various selection, genetic and technological methods for creation the highly productive dairy herds of the planned breeds was developed at example of this population.
