A research object is professional preparation of future teachers of physical education. Aim: upgrading of professional preparation of future teachers of physical education for the improvement of the state of health of students and students, increase of their physical preparedness and achievement of high sporting results. Scientific novelty: in theory it is reasonable and the pedagogical terms of forming of professional competenses of students of faculties of physical education are experimentally tested; a model, criteria and levels of readiness of future teachers of physical culture, is worked out to forming of healthy way of life of modern youth; the complex of educational and methodical materials of the competenses of future specialists of physical education, that save a health, sent to forming is worked out; new didactic materials are inculcated in the educational process of students of physical education of pedagogical higher educational establishments. Practical value consist in development and introduction of the system of didactic facilities and methods of upgrading of professional preparation of the future specialists on physical education, sent to forming of healthy way of life and use of technologies that save a health.
