The study is to develop theoretical and methodological principles of forming a regional investment policy of energy innovation. The main results of the study: development of organizational and economic principles of financing energy saving projects in the border regions of the EU (sources and mechanisms of financing) reasonably results of empirical analysis of the implementation and financing of energy efficiency programs in the Lviv region, proposed the concept of the program "Green Office" as a factor, that promotes activation of energy-saving programs. The results can be used by regional authorities in the implementation of the innovative development of the region and investors in the implementation of innovative projects at the regional level.
