It is established that the generation of electromagnetic noise by coal substance in the temperature range 30-40 degrees Celsius due to chemical reactions that lead to transition of coal to gas under the simultaneous influence of pressure, temperature and electric field. The theoretical model of structural and phase changes in coal and recommendations on coal electrical characteristics measuring in mine conditions on the basis of analysis of modern technical solutions, hardware components and instrumentation results are developed. Practical application of the results of coal magnetic treatment may be associated with the creation of a new way to reduce the outburst intensity of coal and gas.
