The object of research is trees of prospective regionalized sour-cherry and sweet-cherry varieties of M.F. Sydorenko Institute of Irrigated Fruit Growing NAAS breeding. The purpose is to expose the influence of agrotechnical measure aiming higher productivity of mother varietal orchards and improvement of scions quality. Ihe method of research is field method. It was exposed, that under the conditions of Ukraine's Southern Steppe, productivity of mother varietal orchards was determined by shoot formation capacity of varieties, used shoot pinching and their quality was determined be shoot length and by quantity of workeyes placed on them. The usage of agrotechnical method (pinching) raised the output of quality scion material up to 42% higher
