In the research work the analysis of the incidence and prevalence rate of diseases of internals and their impact on the competency of the military personnel within the period of 2001-2010 was conducted. The character of pathogeny, clinical path, diagnosis and treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease combined with arterial hypertension and abdominal lipothrophy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, chronic toxic hepatitis of radiation-induced and chemical etiology were analysed. The efficiency of modern drug therapy was analysed on the basis of clinical, laboratory and instrumental examinations, and pharmako-economic analysis.
