Domestic and foreign experience of drilling and well development, high-viscosity oil reservoir engineering and exploitation was colligated, as a result of which research trends in high-viscosity production stimulation were given ground; selection techniques of drilling type, well path and design, type and contents of drilling mud were worked out; application of thermoacoustic and hydrodynamic method of high-viscosity oil well development was validated; innovative technologies of opening and development of payout bed was suggested; application of carbon dioxide for high-viscosity oil extraction was proved; mathematical model of thermal effect on wellbore with the help of heat-transfer fluids was developed; high-viscosity oil production stimulation with the use of hydrocarbon solvent and surfactants was elaborated; ways of high-viscosity oil pull at different stages of formation development and its technical means were designed; selection technique of surfactant type and concentration in high-viscosity oil was developed, as well as installation draft for determination of surface tension and phase distribution limit in dynamic conditions, and structural scheme of an installation for surfactant solvent preparation and its methodology, technical norms for control of surface and interfacial tension of surfactant solvents were developed.
