Advantages of hydrogen as a working body in energy converting plants in comparison with polyatomic gases have been shown. It offers the challenge for creation of highly efficient energy units with turbo-converters, which have a number of significant advantages in comparison with traditional gas turbines. The possibility to use metalhydride thermosorptional compressors in thermal plants and hydrogen liquefiers has been shown on the basis of the analysis of expansion of the working body in the thermal sorption compressor. Efficiency of cycles of thermo utilizing gas turbine plants with thermochemical compression of the working body under different layout of separate elements of schemes. The basic concepts of design of turbo-units with hydrogen as working body have been made. Structural characteristics of the hydrogen turbo-unit with thermochemical compression of the working body have been selected. The technology for designing of the air-gas channel having of irregular space shape for highly flexible hydrogen turbine has been offered
