The allelic status of 24 varieties of spring wheat of Ukraine genes Rht-B1 and Rht-D1 and Ppd-D1, have been identified.The allelic composition of Ppd-D1 locus in 33 spring wheat varieties adapted to contrasting soil and climatic conditions of East and West Siberia, the Urals, Kazakhstan have been revealed. In the study of morphophysiological characteristics of varieties we revealed insensitivity to vernalization for 33 varieties and 13 varieties have been respond to vernalization.
