Thermomechanics problems for two-layer irradiated plates, in particular plates with coatings, are posed and solved. A method to solve two-dimensional problem on time optimum heating of long thermosensitive elastic rectangular parallelepiped is developed. The problems on determination of thermostress state of four-layer thermosensitive plate subject to convective and radiative heat exchange, homogeneous semi-space thermosensitive plate subject to convective heat exchange and inhomogeneous FGM strip with inhomogeneous temperature distribituon are solved.
