Object of the study are complexes of heteroaromatic carbenes with transition metal salts, methods for their synthesis and catalytic properties. Sulfenes, their structure and reactions. The goal of the work is the synthesis of new types of transition metal carbene complexes of polymeric and calixarene series; the study of catalysis for the reactions of multiple bond reduction, amination and dehalogenation of halogenarenes; the study of the reactions of sulfenes with activated ketones. Methods for the study are synthetic, kinetic, spectral (NMR spectroscopy), analytical (chromatographic and elemental analysis), quantum chemical. Results: synthesis of new carbene complexes of copper and palladium of polymer type was carried out on the basis of crowncarbene and related macrocyclic salts and salts of transition metals; new tetraimidazolylmetyl- and tetraimidazoliometylcalix[4]arenes were obtained under the action of imidazole to tetrachlorometylcalix[4]arene; the interactions of these carbenoids with palladium acetate lead to tetracarbene complexes of palladium. It was found that the reactions of sulfenes with 2- arylidenamino-1,3-thiazoles activated by electronwithdrawing substituents, depending on the structure of sulfenes and carbonyl compounds, lead to the isomeric 1,3-thiazole-tiadiazine-S, S-dioxides, beta - and gamma-sultones, functionally-substituted alkylsulfonic acids and vinylmezylates that opens up prospects for their use in organic synthesis.
