It was found that the main compounds formed during oxidation agree well with the predictions of EPD. It was demonstrated that the EPD can explicate also the specific oxidation features of of HgCdTe, HgMnTe та HgZnTe solid solutions and the properties of their MOS structures especially the thermal stability of anodic oxides.
