The results of research work are the following: for the first time the aging cerebral haemodynamics floatings were determined and age-related characteristics of cerebral haemodynamics state in patients who had ischemic stroke in middle and elderly age, were stated; for the first time the state features of brain cerebral haemodynamics and bioelectrical activity in elderly patients suffered from aterothrombotic and cardioembolic ischemic stroke were presented with regard for pathogenetic mechanisms and hemispheric localization of ischemic focus; for the first time the mechanisms of mexidol complex influence – the medicine with multimodal effect – at brain cerebral haemodynamics and bioelectrical activity in patients suffered from aterothrombotic ischemic stroke were presented
