Synthetic methods were developed to obtain the series of new heterocyclic derivatives of cationic porphyrins, their Zn and Mn metallocomplexes and conjugates, hetaryl-substituted chromones, symmetrical and unsymmetrical tricarbocyanines, potential ligands of quadruplex DNA. Computer modelling of the structure of porphyrin conjugastes was performed using quantum-chemical method DFT. Elaboration of the TRAP test system for the analysis of telomerase activity in vitro has been started.
