The aim of the work is to decrease the electricity losses during the operation of municipal electric transport dew to optimal redistribution of electric power consumption, increase in reliability of electric power supply to the municipal electric transport dew to the elements diagnostic of the electrical network. Research methods - information search, methods for technical diagnostics of approaches for determining the technical condition of equipment, methods of mathematical analysis, fuzzy logic. There had been analyzed the methods and tools for diagnosing the power transformers, which allowed to formulate the algorithm for the creation of highly efficient diagnostic devices. There had been analyzed the operating peculiarities of traction network. There had been analyzed the electric power supply from the point of view of losses. There had been considered the criteria of optimal functioning of municipal electric transport. There had been suggested an approach for receiving the resource characteristics of power oil transformers operating in an overloading mode, on the base of which there had been developed the mathematical model for their construction. There had been developed the mathematical model for the evaluation of the residual life in power oil transformer, which operates in the mode of overloading. There had been developed the mathematical model of block for the determination of optimal pantograph collector pressure using the theory of fuzzu sets. There had been researched the reciprocal influence of the trolley bus's insulation state and the feeding system with the insulated poles for the leakage current. There had been developed the mathematical model of the block for prognostication of the leakage current in discharger. There had been suggested the recommendation on the decrease in losses in electric power net. There had been synthesized the structures of the devices for diagnosing the powerful oil and dry-type transformers. There had been synthesized the structure of the device which allows to control inputs with inner insulation of the capacitors' type of power transformers under the working loading. There had been synthesized the structures of the devices, which allow to ensure the optimal current pickup by the tram's pantograph, decreasing at the same time the electric energy losses in the make- break contact "pantograph bow- contact wire line" and the contact-wire line wear as well as the wear of carbon inserts in pantograph. There had been suggested the structural diagram and operating algorithm of the microprocessing device for the diagnosing the state of the insulation in oil power transformer with the consideration of its operation in the overloading mode.
