Subject of research - the system of the architectural town planning documentation on state, regional and local levels. Purpose of research - to prepare drafts of state building regulations "The composition and the content of the architectural town planning documentation at the national and regional levels" and "The composition and the content of the detailed plan of a territory". Methods of research: analytical, comparative, system-structural analysis. Scientific-practical tasks concerning preparation of the regulatory documents in the field of the architectural town planning on the state, regional and local levels are solved in the scientific-research work. The foreign analogues of the respective regulatory documents had been analysed. The list of graphic and text materials, which are included to architectural town planning documentation on each of mentioned levels, is defined. The elaborated scientific-research work will promote the realisation of significant state task of modification the legislative and regulatory basis of architectural town planning, which is set by The Law of Ukraine "About Regulation of Architectural Town Planning Activity", and also will provide increasing of efficiency of elaboration the architectural town planning documentation.
