Object of research: historical settlements and villages of Ukraine, the building, to plan of, cultural heritage. Objective: To study the historical settlements of Ukraine for preparing of scientific books "Historic Settlements of Ukraine" and "Historical and architectural research of Kyiv", research historical villages of Ukraine to form a preliminary list. Methods: search and collection of materials, their processing, analysis and systematization. Result of research: compiled historical information to 401 historic settlements, historical and informative descriptions of the 24 regions of Ukraine and AR of Crimea, compiled a preliminary list of historic villages of Ukraine, prepared scientific book a "Historical and architectural research of Kyiv."
