Experimental situations as a method of detection of the academic endowments of pupils of school age are simulated. The essence is formulated and found out structure of a method of modeling of the experimental situations necessary for primary diagnostics of the academic endowments, to define its place in theoretical model of methodical principles of diagnostics of the academic endowments of pupils of comprehensive school. It is allocated валідні and reliable methods which promote diagnosing of the academic endowments of the child during the different sensitive periods of its development. By results of the analysis of scientific sources on a problem of research the terms framework of diagnosing of the academic endowments, in particular such terms, as the academic endowments, functional perfectionism, dysfunctional perfectionism is specified.
