Object of study - covered hopper for grain and other food cargoes of model 19-4146 ( further in the text - car of model 19-4146) manufactured by public company "Dneprovagonmash"(further in the text PC "Dneprovagonmash"). Object of work - carrying out a set of preliminary tests of the wagon model 19-4146 for documents and technical documentation for the wagon. Results of the clearance negotiation and short radius curve negotiation, tare weight determination, geometry determination, static, impact, running dynamic, running strength, stationary braking and braking tests of the car model 19-4146 are given in this report together and conclusion on their conformance with normative documents requirements is given. Research work results are used when preparing to series production of the car model 19-41-46.
