It is shown that if the interaction of the quasiparticles in graphene is strong enough, the condensate of excitons and a gap in the spectrum of fermionic excitations appear in the system, followed by a quantum transition to the insulating phase. It is shown that the electron-phonon interaction in graphene renormalizes the motion of electrons at the Fermi surface and the optical conductivity is less than that calculated a universal value of conductance.
