Research object - scientifically methodological sources and normatively legal acts of national and foreign legislation, which regulate public relations in the field of guard of rights on a commercial secret. Objective - to study norms legislative acts of Ukraine, including international treaties of Ukraine which regulate relations related to the acquisition of property rights to information (information resources), which is a commercial (competitive value) for its owner, keeping this information from unauthorized use and distribution, the use of such information in the innovation and business activities in compliance with the property rights and interests of its owner, ensuring the protection of rights and interests, training concepts improve information legislation of Ukraine to improve legal regulation of information of public relations, coordination and establishing value definitions of terms such as "confidential information" (confidential information), "professional secret", "secret production" (trade secret), "know-how" (know-how), "Trade Secrets" (commercial secret), provide suggestions and recommendations for enforcement rules legislation in the field of information.During the study used general scientific and special techniques, in particular, used techniques such as dialectical, comparative legal, logical and semantic, dogma-law, formal law, the method of complex analysis. Results: Recommendations and sample documents to protect confidential information, including trade secrets, business entities. Scope: the scope of intellectual property, the scope of scientific and technological activities, the scope of innovation. Implementation of the results of work will increase the level of information security companies, institutions and organizations to information that is for them economic (commercial, competitive) value management.
