Ivchenco popup.description2 Object of research - documents provided by the Customer: reports, diagrams, mathematical models, drawings of the SP12 engine thrust reverser detail design. Purpose of work - perform design examination of specifications for the SP12 engine thrust reverser designing, developed by the Customer, in the scope of Request for proposal stated in the Appendix No. 1 to the Agreement No.1323/5828-156-0007/2010DMAC/YZD015UA dated 05.05.2010. Research methods - comparative and computational-analytical methods of research are used. The examination of provided specifications was performed under the norms, rules, criteria acting at the Executor, experience of designing and operation of similar devices. Theoretical and practical results of research - on the basis of provided documents the Executor, according to the Technical requirements to agreement acceptance (Appendix No.2 to the Agreement), has developed and transmitted 10 technical reports to the Customer. The list of technical reports is given in Table А.1, Т/r No. 61/2012-SP12. In technical reports problems and imperfections of the SP12 engine thrust reverser designing are noted. In the summary and conclusions there are stated the results of examination and the estimation of whether specifications of the thrust reverser designing, provided by the Customer, meet or do not meet the general requirements to the engine. Copies of the technical reports title pages originals transmitted to the Customer are presented in the Appendix, Т/r № 61/2012-SP12. Novelty and efficiency of innovation - the conventional thrust reverser - of cascade type, located in a bypass duct prior to the exhaust nozzle exit - was considered. The novelty of the SP12 engine thrust reverser is the differencs from thrust reversers which are applied at SE IVCHENKO-PROGRESS, concerning the fact that the SP12 engine thrust reverser is of split type, consisting of two identical halves which can be opened to provide convenient access to the assemblies and gas generator of the engine. Each half of the thrust reverser is fastened to the engine and to the aircraft pylon. The task on the estimation of efficiency of the revealed and eliminated design imperfections was not set. Field of application - the equipment of turbojet by-pass engines that power the aircraft of long-range and mid-range airlines. Conclusions - development activity - Design examination of specifications for SP12 engine thrust reverser designing, developed by the Customer, according to the Agreement is executed in corpore.
