The problem of selection of test-sites for in-field spectrometry aimed to calibration of satellite observation data and phenomenological modeling results verification is described; problems of utilization of satellite observations coupled with natural systems modeling for increasing of forecasting efficiency of swamping and inundation processes are investigated; methodical issues of assessment of inundation risks analysis and regional hydrological and hydro-geological safety are studied; the problems of new algorithms of satellite data processing aimed to analysis of inundations and swamping indicators are also considered.
