The fundamental properties of electrons and polar phonons were studied. Electron- phonon interaction under non-equilibrium conditions were studied. Search of new microwave electrical and optical effects, which are caused by electron-phonon interaction has been done. n +-i-n + diodes with ballistic and diffusive nature of the carriers motion were analyzed. We also consider the so-called hybrid systems consisting of nanoparticles and semiconductor heterostructures with quantum well. A model of a hybrid system has been proposed.
