The mathematical modeling of the inspection control process was done in the work. Program-analytical model of the hidden hollow detector was developed and investigated. Optimal algorithms of signal processing and decision making in count mode and spectrometric information identification with use of pattern recognition methods are presented. Simulation and investigation of the optimal circuit solution of the ionizing radiation detector signal processing were done. Configuration of the ionizing radiation source protection for portable inspection device was researched and optimized. The prototype model of the inspection control device was designed and made.
