The subject of study: didactic principles of fundamentalization of the content of education in high school. The aim: to create an integrated theory of fundamentalization of the content of education in high school. The objectives of study: 1. Develop theoretical principles of fundamentalization of the content of education in high school; find the possible ways of fundamentalization of the content of education in high school in terms of specialized training. 2. Develop guidelines of fundamentalization of the content of education in high school in terms of specialized training. 3. Identify and reason the principles and methods of competency oriented educational content as the basis for its fundamentalization; develop and experimentally verify a conceptual model of competency oriented content of education in high school as the basis for its fundamentalization. 4. Find out the basic didactic requirements for high school students’ basic knowledge obtaining in the course of studying natural sciences; develop a conceptual model of fundamentalization of the content of natural sciences in high school in terms of specialized training. 5. Develop a conceptual model of activity oriented high school content of education; test the effectiveness of the developed model in terms of specialized training. 6. Define and justify didactic conditions of the Humanities content selection in high school in terms of specialized training; develop and experimentally verify a conceptual model of fundamentalization of the Humanities content in terms of specialized training. 7. Substantiate the didactic conditions of formation of high school students’ value-semantic orientations during fundamentalization of the Humanities content in terms of specialized training; explore the hierarchy of value-semantic orientations of high school students to fundamentalize the content of education in terms of specialized training. 8. Identify the features of fundamentalization of the content of variable educational component in high school; develop tools to solve the problem of content fundamentalization of elective courses in high school. 9. Determine the basic didactic requirements for high school students’ fundamental knowledge obtaining in the process of learning the basics of ecology; develop a conceptual model of fundamentalization of educational content of environmental knowledge in high school in terms of specialized training. 10. Substantiate and develop educational technology of implementation of interdisciplinary tasks in terms of fundamentalization of social and humanitarian subjects’ content in high school. The methods of study: observation, interviews, questionnaires, theoretical analysis, synthesis, theoretical and structural modeling, pedagogical experiment, method of expert evaluations, psychological and pedagogical projecting. The results of study: scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the research is to create a coherent theory of fundamentalization of the content of education in high school. The relevance of obtained results for pedagogy is determined by: a) determining the nature of fundamentalization of the content of education in high school, as well as the theoretical basis for conceptual models (of competency oriented content of education in high school as the basis for its fundamentalization; of fundamentalization of the Humanities content in terms of specialized training in high school; of fundamentalization of the content of natural sciences in high school in terms of specialized training; of activity oriented high school content of education; identifying the features of fundamentalization of the content of variable educational component in high school); b) justification of the didactic conditions of high school students’ value-semantic orientations during fundamentalization of the Humanities content. The theoretical value of the study is to determine the theoretical and methodological foundations of fundamentalization of the content of education in high school. The practical significance of the research results is: the creation of the concept of fundamentalization of the content of education in high school and guidelines for educators. The monograph «Fundamentalization of the content of education in high school: Theory and Practice», the guidelines can be used in the educational process of higher educational institutions, including the post-graduate training for teachers during lectures, seminars and other scientific and practical activities. The degree of implementation: legal documents, scientific and methodological articles, presentations at scientific conferences, seminars and round tables. Basic constructive and techno-economic indicators: accordance to the NDR regulations and current requirements to the process of learning in secondary school. The practical significance of the work: the study is a part of the overall reform process in Ukraine schooling. The results will be offered to educators and scientists in the development of training programs for high school students, as well as the introduction in Ukraine school practice, divisions and departments of education and higher educational institutions.
