In the case of interaction between palladium(II) and AEDP, it has been found that in a 0.15 mol/L KCl solution at the ratios metal:ligand=1:1 and 1:2, an equimolar anionic complex and bisligand complexes are formed, in which independent of the degree of deprotonation, ligand is coordinated to the central metal atom by amine group nitrogen atom and phosphonic group oxygen atom with five-membered metallocycle closure. The formation constants of complexes of palladium(II) with HEDP, MDP, AEDP and AHPDP have been calculated. Diagrams of equilibrium concentration distribution of complexes of different composition as a function of pH have been constructed, and the composition of the complexes that are formed in solutions with chloride ion concentration and pH close to the physiological ones has been determined. A study of the antiproliferative and cytotoxic action of solutions of the systems К2PdCl4 - HЕDP - KCl (І), К2PdCl4 - МDP - KCl (ІІ) and К2PdCl4 - АЕDP - KCl (ІІІ) has been carried out on MCF-7S line cells. It has been found on the basis of determined values of average cytotoxic dose IC50 that the systems (I) and (II) show a higher cytotoxic activity than the system (III). The acute toxicity of the systems in the case of single intraperitoneal introduction in mice and follow-up of animals for 14 days has been established. It has been found that the solution of the system (II) is least toxic, and that the solutions of the system (III) have the highest toxicity. On the basis of the results of spectroscopic studies, differences in the IR spectra of sound and metastasized lung tissues of mice have been established. It has been shown that in the case of treatment with solutions of the system К2PdCl4 - МDP - KCl, restoration of molecular protein structures, which are typical of sound-lung tissues, is observed.
