The work contains calculations of market shares in sectors with various structural precondition for competition by spheres and sectors, as well as by general economy indicators. The level of monopolization of industries in 2011 has been defined. The overall congregation level in the industry of Ukraine, as well as in manufacturing, energy, agriculture, transport and communications, engineering, trade and mediation. The work contains of analyzes the results of a questionnaire survey of business entities for 2012, which reviewed the competitive environment of Ukraine's economy. Also it has been analyzed the relationship of competition with the level of concentration, estimated proportion of 10, 20, 50, 100, 150, 200 largest enterprises in the volume of sales in key sectors.
