Paton Electric Welding Institute popup.description2 New process braze-welding together with simultaneous thermomechanical machining of metal in a zone of the joint at a stage of its refrigeration which is the most suitable for the joint of a sheet steel as compared with known processes of arc welding are increased with strength of the joint not less than on 25-30 % is developed. Experiment-technological process braze-welding of funnels and other workpieces from a sheet steel is developed. The designed welding practice, braze-welding and brazing of thin-walled spiral-seam rust-resistant funnels of a high pressure, gives facility to get the funnels competitive to funnels of the metallurgical gage. Thus use of the electric power which is used at welding is essentially diminished. The gained and investigated two aspects of a braze-welding combination: with association of a rag to parent metal and without its association. Metallographic analysis of welds of funnels which together with water tests specify strength of welds is lead. Tests of exemplars of funnels have displayed their good strength which is equated strengths of parent metal. The designed experimental technique and the equipment for induction hardening welded junctions of high-strength railway rails, ensures improvement structure of metal of a weld seam. Methods of account aerodynamic and thermal characteristics of new cost effective and highly effective recuperators with thin-walled high-strength funnels of small diameter of systems of a recuperation of gas distribution and transfer stations of turnpike gas conduits which increase efficiency are developed and diminish financial expenditures at pumping gas and save metal by manufacture of new recuperators. Research techniques consisted in technological simulation of process of the joint, thermal and machining job of materials, in detection of dependence between parameters of a process and quality of gained joints. Methods of optical metallography, holding of trials of the gained joints on a mechanical strength and matching operating conditions were used. Theoretical both practical results and novelty: the opportunity of creation of welding practice, braze-welding, brazing and thermomechanical machining of metal materials, in particular funnels, a high-heat treatment of welded junctions of high-strength railway rails which consists in opportunity of essential lowering the cost price of workpieces which fabricate from them is theoretically justified and practically proved. It is ensured due to saving power and technological expenditures. Implementation of results of exploration and development of matching technique contains in increase in a resource of maintenance of finished goods. Subject and extent of a heading: results of operation, namely the created high-efficiency "know-how" of thin-walled tubes and a thermal induction heat treatment of high-strength railway rails it is approved in Paton Welding Institute of NASU. Issue of funnels for municipal economy for application in hot and cold water service, the chemical industry, and also a high-heat treatment of welded junctions of high-strength railway rails at the factories of the Ministry of industrial policy and a railway transport of Ukraine is recognized schedule. Efficiency of a heading: at application of the designed welding practice of thin-walled tubes, saving of metal can make 50 … 70%, with matching lowering the cost price of workpieces which are fabricated from these funnels, and it is essential to increase strength of junctions of high-strength railway rails and by 30% to diminish a time of their high-heat treatment.
