Physical phenomena and processes in multicomponent and multiphase materials, in particular - the nanocomposite materials, their formation and structural evolution under various external influences were examined. The subject of research have been based on high-strength composition of refractory metals (Mo, Ta, Nb, Zr) and their compounds, functional oxide and heat resistant silicide materials, multi-component composite coating (systems Ti-Zr-Si-N, Ti-Hf-Si-N, TiCrN / Ni-Cr-Fe-Si-B). The purpose of the work was the development and creation of new composite materials with improved physical and mechanical properties and performance for use in various fields of science and technology. Multiphase and multicomponent coatings, ceramics, composites with improved mechanical, corrosion and thermal properties have been modeled, designed and manufactured.
