The Russian and Ukrainian wheat varieties were screened with the help of molecular markers for Rht-B1, Rht-D1 та Ppd-D1 genes. The nucleotide sequence of amplification fragment 429 bp of Ppd-D1 gene was detected. The morphophysiological characters of wheat varieties by vernalization requirment, sensitivity to photoperiod and plant height were detected.
