The use of new methods allows us to reduce error for vegetation state assessment 3 times comparing to existing techniques. The use of satellite imagery for drought risk assessment allowed us to assess geospatial probability density of a disaster, and develop corresponding maps for Ukraine. The use of Grid technologies allowed us to enable efficient workflow management and access to high performance computing resources. The use of Grid allowed us to reduce time required for computation and delivery of geoinformation products 2 times. We proposed a new approach for identification of structure and parameters of discrete of dynamic systems of polynomial type. This approach was computation efficient, and proved to be efficient for vegetation state estimation from remote sensing data. We developed models for forecasting geomagnetic indices with respect to solar activity. These models could be used in systems for ionosphere correction of GPS and other global navigation systems. These models were implemented in the dedicated software that was tested using archived and real time data. The developed within the project technologies were used in Ukrainian Hydrometeorlogical Center, UN-SPIDER Regional Support Office in Ukraine and in the Forecast System Ionosphere.
