Object of research - natural disasters Objective of the project is to develop methods and information technologies for satellite data processing (optical and radar) for soil moisture assessment, snow cover and risk of floods, to develop pilot version of distributed system that deliver geospatial services for decision support in Ukrinae and Belarus, and international organizations (UN-SPIDER). Methods of research are intelligent computation, statistics, object-oriented design. This report covers results of development of information technologies for soil moisture assessment, snow cover identification and flood risk analysis based on remote sensing data acquired in different spectral ranges.
