A technology for mechanical picking and subsequent chopping of grapevine prunings by means of the chopper ПВ-1,5 designed by the Institute "Magarach" was substantiated and tested under industrial conditions, the prunings destined for the use as mulch and fertilizing material. Manufacturing schemes were developed and machinery and equipment was selected for picking and subsequent treatment of grapevine prunings with the view of different uses (as brick fuel, wood and chip plates, elements of pallet containers).
